You can reliably exchange any worldwide currency to E-gold through Thetaworld Corporation.
We will accept any of following payments:
- Western Union
- Money Gram Money Transfer
- International wire transfer to one of our bank accounts
- ACH direct deposit from US bank account
- VISA, MasterCard and American Express credit or debit cards (verification required)
- Postal money order
- Checks drawn on US bank
The minimum amount to exchange is US $100. If you are buying e-gold, we will charge you 4% commission. For example if we receive by wire transfer US $500, we will charge you 4% which is US $20. You will receive e-gold payment in amount of US $480.
If you need us to use services of Western Union or MoneyGram, that is additional US $10 handling fee, thus with this type of service, minimum is US $30. For example you want to get US $500 in e-gold, than you will simply pay the fixed fee of US $30. If you want to get US $1000 in e-gold, you will need to pay the 4% fee because it is greater than the minimum fee.
There is additional 6% commission if you are buying E-gold by credit card. Credit card payments can be delayed until proper verification of the credit card is done. The total commission for credit card orders is 10% and we accept credit card orders only from our own verified customers, so better not to try at all.
The commission schedule in short:
6% if you are loading the offshore prepaid VISA card (Panama) including any e-gold fluctuation. Please include the prepaid VISA debit card number and cardholder name under Additional Comments. The funds are personally brought to the bank and deposited on the card account. If there is larger amount over US $5000, we will charge 4% for offshore prepaid VISA debit card funding. We might lower and change this fee from time to time. Due to recent changes with exchanges, we must also charge additional wire transfer fee of US $60. The fee for loading VISA card by E-gold is US $60 and 4%.
4% if you are buying or selling E-gold.
additional US $20 if you sell E-gold and want to receive wire transfer.
the minimum fee is always US $20. If you are exchanging US $150, we will charge US $20 for the service and not the 4% because it is lesser than the minimum fee of US $20.
